Marriage Preparation

Marriage in The Episcopal Church is viewed as a covenant relationship proclaimed in a public setting. By covenant relationship, we mean a relationship that is reflective of God’s relationship with God’s people. It is a relationship of grace. It is a relationship lived out in trust and forgiveness.

Prior to the wedding, couples will meet with the rector and participate in premarital counselling, covering topics such as values, faith, communication styles, childrearing, and conflict resolution.

​

Church clergy and staff will guide you through your wedding options and request that you provide us with at least 30 days' notice to prepare a ceremony as unique as your relationship.
